As I was spending time reading a devotional, I came across a passage from Exodus that I thought, I would share.
Exodus 20:17-- You shall not covet your neighbor's house......or anything that belongs to your neighbor.
Hmmm, that stings. I find myself doing this daily, lately. I read home decor blogs, parenting blogs, organization blogs, etc. all the while thinking, "Why can't I have that?" or "Why doesn't MY house look like that?" Jealousy sets in. Funny thing is: If I spent the same amount of time taking care of my house, kids, etc., as I do reading these blogs my house WOULD look like that!
Yes, Lord.....I'm listening!

Yeah….I’m guilty of that as well. It does get my butt in gear though! I actually received an e-mail from a sweet reader that said they hope to have a life like mine some day. Ahh it broke my heart that I made someone feel that in any way their life was less than mine. I actually had a big discussion with my fiancée over it. As bloggers we tend to put only the good stuff out there. No matter how clean our house looks, or awesome things look on the outside you never really know what’s going on behind closed doors. Everyone has their own set of trials and tribulations. Blog world just paints a pretty picture sometimes doesn’t it.
