Hello everyone! How are those Thanksgiving plans coming along? We have already had our Thanksgiving 'Beast' (in Little Bit's terms), so the stressful part is behind me! I love leftovers, I think it may be my favorite part of Thanksgiving! ;)
Today, I have a little tip to share with you for Tasty Tuesday (and stay tuned for a giveaway!).
Normally, during the week, I make pretty quick and easy meals. I don't have time to fuss around and make some 4 course meal on a normal Wednesday evening. I save those meals for the weekend.
However, once in awhile, a meal calls for Mashed Potatoes. You know what I mean, if you make meatloaf, you have to have mashed potatoes on the side. Right? Or is that just me? Am I crazy? Don't answer that!!
So, when MyBlogSparkcontacted me to review Betty Crocker's Instant Mashed Potatoes, I was thrilled. My family LOVES mashed potatoes, so I knew that we would enjoy these too. I was NOT expecting two things: #1 They have a new flavor (or new to me)Roasted Garlic. YUM! and #2 These potatoes are so easy to make! My kids made these by themselves several times (including for an after school snack!). Quick and easy! LOVE it!!
Go to this website to download a coupon for yourself. (http://www.myblogspark.com/uc/main/4775/) and enjoy a quick and easy side dish!
Now, would you like to win a Prize Pack for your own Betty Crocker Instant Mashed Potatoes?? Of course you would!!! Just leave me a comment telling me what your favorite part of Thanksgiving is! That's it. Then I will draw a winner on Friday, November 22, 2010. Good Luck!
Disclosure: MyBlogSpark and Betty Crocker provided me with samples of the Betty Crocker Instant Mashed Potatoes. The information was all from the MyBlogSpark website (including pictures and coupons). MyBlogSpark and Betty Crocker are hosting this giveaway and will send the winner a beautiful prize pack, as shown above! All opinions about this product are my own.

I've always been a little freaked out by boxed potatoes, but my husband ate them often as a kid. I guess it's just another one of those things that is a matter of taste. I do hear they have lots of uses in cooking, so I'd have to check that out!
Kirkland or Costco depending on where your at has Instant Potato's that don't taste "instant".
My late husband's mom will buy these and add a little sour cream to them.
Have a blessed Holiday.

My fave part of Thanksgiving is a tie between the pumpkin pie and the turkey leftovers, esp turkey sandwiches on the rolls with cran jelly. I could eat those forever. :-)
